| Mr. and Mrs. William Bailey of Schaumburg
announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Bailey, to Patrick
Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Smith of Bellevue, Wash. A May
wedding is planned. Alison, a 1999 Hoffman Estates High School
graduate, received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Ind., in
2003. She is employed by Northrop Grumman in Seattle, Wash. Patrick,
a 1995 Bellevue High School graduate, received a bachelor's degree
in mathematics from Willamette University, Salem, Oregon, in 1999.
He is employed by Kibble & Prentice in Seattle, Wash.
